🐝🌼 Buzzing into another day as a beekeeper! Today, I visited one of my clients with hives nestled in their beautiful garden. As I strolled through, I couldn't help but admire the sweet chestnut tree in bloom.

When I inspected the hive, I noticed a rather unusual scent in the honey—something akin to manure! 🤔 Curious as always, I did a bit of research and found out that sweet chestnut honey often has this unique aroma. But no worries—the scent disappears once the honey is processed leaving a runny clear honey.

Nature always has its surprises! 🍯✨ Just another day in the life of a bee enthusiast.

In this hot weather the Oxford Office Furniture bees need a little help.

Cuckoo bees are a group of parasitic insects in the UK that, much like the bird, do not build their own nests or collect pollen. Instead, they sneak into the hives of social bumblebees, take over the nest, and trick the host workers into raising their young.
Who would have thought it!
