It has been a little while since my last visit to the Laser workshop ⌚

But it is always great to see the team and appreciate the hard work and commitment they show to not just their work output, but the workshop too! 😊

The space is always sparkly clean, the machines are always kept in tip top condition and the work areas are always so organised! 🤗✨

It really is a testament to the teams work ethic 👍

The machines were cutting aluminium today and the cut was spot on from both machines! 😊

About Us

Metalcraft Laser Ltd opened its doors in 2010 as an addition to the Metalcraft group of companies, specialising in laser cut sheet metal parts. We are now a fast paced, competitive contender in the laser cutting arena and see continuous growth year on year.

Role Description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Laser Operator to join our team operating our Trumpf lasers.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime available during busy periods.

Essential

✅ A minimum of one years’ experience of laser programming
✅ Experience in sheet metal and laser cutting
✅ Interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
✅ Excellent communication skills with a commitment to meeting customer’s needs
✅ Ability to follow instructions
✅ Have a keen interest in engineering
✅ Have excellent timekeeping and attendance record
✅ Willingness to work as part of a team as well as demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative
✅ Ability to follow instructions
✅ FLT license
