The Role
✅ Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections
✅ Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
✅ Interpret schematics and technical drawings
✅ Undertake fabrication and welding where required
✅ Maintain accurate service and compliance records
✅ Work closely with operations to minimise downtime
✅ Uphold the highest safety and operational standards

About You
✅ Strong mechanical and electrical experience (HGV, plant, or similar)
✅ Confident in fault-finding and diagnostics
✅ Able to read and interpret schematics
✅ Experience with PLCs or logic controllers (desirable)
✅ Proactive, reliable, and solutions-driven
✅ A team player with strong communication skills

Package
✅ £40,000 – £55,000 per year (depending on experience)
✅ Full-time, permanent position
✅ Based at Octane House, Peace Street, Bradford

Experienced Groundworkers Wanted - West Yorkshire
Award-Winning Octane Holding Group is expanding its in-house civils division and is looking for experienced Groundworkers / Concrete Finishers to join our growing team. Based in Bradford, we deliver nationwide fuel infrastructure, drainage, and concrete works to commercial and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Installation of drainage systems, ACO channels, interceptors
✅ Concrete base prep, pouring, and finishing
✅ Operating excavators, dumpers, rollers (valid tickets required)
✅ Completing digital job cards and maintaining site safety
✅ Ability to work away is required (with travel/accommodation covered)

Requirements:
✅ 3+ years’ experience in groundworks
✅ CSCS card (CPCS minimum for plant)
✅ Full UK licence (max 6 points)
✅ CRB check and references
✅ Must be able to commute to Bradford daily.

Team Celebration in Leeds – A Well-Earned Night Out!
To recognise the hard work and dedication shown by the team over recent months, the Directors of Octane Holding Group Ltd organised a fantastic night out in Leeds as a well-deserved thank you.

The evening kicked off at Boom Battle Bar, where team members put their competitive spirit to the test with rounds of Augmented Darts, Pool, and some lively games of Beer Pong. The party then moved onto Be At One Cocktail Bars where things started to get a little hazy for our photographer… 😄

Let’s just say, the following morning came with a few sore heads and some great stories, as the celebrations continued well into the early hours.

Highlighted Project - MTFI Fuel Infrastructure Upgrade

Octane Holding Group is proud to highlight a successfully delivered full replacement of an ageing MTFI (Mechanical Transport Fuelling Installation) facility that had served its purpose for over 20 years.

Working closely with client, we were tasked with removing the existing below-ground, single-skin fuel tanks and replacing them with a fully compliant, above-ground diesel storage and dispensing solution - engineered for durability, safety, and efficiency.

Scope of Works Delivered:
• Removal of legacy underground fuel tanks
• Installation of a new cylindrical diesel tank and gantry
• Construction of a new dispensing island with ERIC system
• Installation of new fuel pipework, tank gauges, alarms, and a GRP control kiosk
• New drainage and OWI systems, LV supply, external lighting, earthing and lightning protection
• New fire and fuel alarm remote links and safety signage
• Temporary on-site fuel dispensing maintained throughout the works

In line with our commitment to excellence, all works were completed with full health & safety compliance, coordination with third-party stakeholders, and minimal disruption to site operations.

A special thanks to our team and partners who ensured the successful delivery of this critical infrastructure upgrade.

Project Update: Fuel Tank Removal & Replacement – Derbyshire

Our dedicated team has been hard at work on-site in Derbyshire, delivering exceptional results for our valued client, Northeast Derbyshire Council.

We firstly cleaned and degassed two 10,000-litre underground fuel tanks, excavated and removed them, clearing the way for the installation of a brand-new 18,000-litre above-ground fuel tank. In addition to the tank replacement, our scope includes the installation of new pumps, a modern refuelling island, and a state-of-the-art 10,000 litre capacity interceptor system - all fully compliant with the latest environmental regulations.

A Powerful Reminder of the Past While Building for Tomorrow

While our team was on site at Shropshire Aero Club conducting airfield tank inspections and audits, they had the rare privilege of sharing the airfield with a true piece of aviation history - a 1944 twin-engine WWII-era jet (Avro Anson).

Coming just after the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the moment was both humbling and inspiring. Standing beside such an iconic aircraft offered a poignant reminder of the legacy of those who served, and the incredible engineering of the time.

Moments like these reinforce the value of honouring the past while remaining committed to building for the future.
