I seen another cleaner make a post and she hit the nail on the head with this and I have always run my business this way. If you say you don’t need a deep clean that your home is clean then we are not the cleaners for you. After 11 years in the industry a deep clean is a must to get it to maintenance standard. We are not going to be scrubbing doors and months of grime out of baths taking of shower seals removing grease etc and class it as a general. I’m not saying every home is completely dirty but for me to get it to maintenance standard we have to go in deep first and will be there a lot longer than your standard maintenance clean. Even if I have customers that come off due to their financial reasons changing and 2,3,4 months later they want to come back on they are then paying for a deep clean again we won’t just pick up where we left off because that’s not how it works . I don’t understand cleaners just charging for a general/maintainance clean for the first time it makes zero sense to me you are complaining putting yourself out of pocket because it’s never standard it’s deep
