When you're 3yo ex race pony comes back into work this good.... 😁😁❤️❤️❤️
About 6 weeks ago, we gave Freddie a holiday after being shown the ropes as he'd been so good and proven he had a level head straight of training. Whilst we could have cracked on it felt right to let the little w**d grow a bit in body and mind before moving up from reception to year 1!
This is genuinely first time on after a bit of riding and leading and lunging this last two weeks. He stood still for me to get on, was a little tense with mum leading to start but didn't put a toe out of place, and then walked about and trotted around like this.
We have more balance, he felt stronger, and just felt like he knew what he was meant to do
No canter today as we thought best quit whilst ahead! Keep pointing your good toes though please Freddie - you have been a star today ⭐

Clipping season is in full swing! Now taking bookings from Mid-November onwards, booked until then except for emergency visits if I can fit you in!! :) thanks so much for everyone's support so far. Its been so nice catching up with you all and getting ponies looking swish🥰

Please ensure horses are clean on arrival to ensure my clippers can do their best job, that I can get done in good time to avoid ponies getting bored and clippers getting warm, and avoid wear and tear on my clippers and blades which cost a lot of money to maintain! Prices are based on clean ponies so for dirty and greasy coats a charge is applied.

We're pulling together a day that will help with performance, mindset, and for riders to achieve their personal goals with their horses

Realized I haven't introduced the new boy on here!!
A new adventure in my world as last month I trundled up to York and came back having purchased Carlton Freddie
He's a 3yo ex racehorse from the Easterbys having raced 3 times with a best run of 7th/8!
He's already shown that he has got an incredible attitude in his new life though. We're going to take it super slow with this one and after a few hacks, long lining sessions and schools trotting over poles and popping into canter like a doll, he's having a bit of a holiday
Can't wait to pick this boy back up again soon and share our story 😁

Feels good to have Gilb to be out playing proper games again
Going to the dark side of BS at Frenches Farm, and think he quite likes it 🤔
I'm not quite used to being in a warm up ring full of big show jumpers and had to hold my nerve a bit, my but my big-hearted coloured pony couldn't care less

Took him around the British novice and the discovery for a pole in the novice where I was riding a bit polite and a wicked double clear full fifth in the discovery. Interesting last fence but we couldn't have it too easy 😅 Silver lining on a day out which was just intended for me to get my groove going again to come home with a frilly in a big class. Love you G ❤️❤️❤️

Love this pony and the smile he puts on our faces, whatever he does, so long as it involves airtime ✈️✈️
