Meet the Team - Jill Taylor
Jill has extensive knowledge through working within school catering, at local authority level, in the private sector and being the regional secretary for the Lead Association in Catering in Education (LACA).

Jill has worked as a catering manager under a contractor model and supporting the service in its conversion to an in-house approach. Jill has supported Essex County Council through the universal infant free school meal implementation and overseeing a large number of new build and refurbishment projects.

Jill supports LBA Safety supporting schools in their catering management. Jill also supports food and contractor procurement in schools ensuring best value.

It's always a pleasure to receive photos of theme days from the schools we support. This bright and fun counter display was of Census Day to celebrate the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough. Catering teams go above and beyond to engage pupils and create a positive and memorable dining experience.

Carol is LBA Safety’s Business Manager. As LBA Safety continues its successful growth path Carol assists in managing the business and supporting the team. Carol brings an excellent skill set to keep us all in line and manage the finances.

Jo is our office manager, keeping the office running smoothly. She brings a good skill set managing the office and being your main contact when organising courses with us. Jo will likely be your first contact when you call the office.

Meet The Team - Kathryn Hundal

Kathryn is part of our technical adviser team supporting our school clients.

She is a trained chef and has worked across a range of hospitality settings developing considerable experience.
She worked as a lead learning and development manager for a food retail chain and has catering management expertise in an education setting.

Kathryn has a positive focus to her work with clients and a can do attitude.

Meet The Team - Jayne Tinworth

Jayne is one of our technical advisers supporting our school clients.

She has a background in contract catering management and extensive experience in both primary and secondary school catering management.

Jayne has good knowledge and experience in the operation of Rational cooking equipment trialling our recipes and developing production pathways for our education clients.

We can't believe our Annual School Catering Conference was a week ago! We had a record number of delegates attend and such incredible feedback. A huge thank you to all the wonderful suppliers, to Charlie Hodson for his inspirational presentation, to the whole LBA team (🖤team work makes the dream work as ever 💚) and to all the delegates......... see you next year!
