My second inspiring conversation of the week was with Tracey Mienie of The Churches Conservation Trust. Doing some incredible work in Sunderland, I don't have enough space on here to list the stuff they are doing. One pick of the bunch though is to check out their Rave in the Knave initiative. Really innovative way of engaging young people in historical buildings.

One of the perks of working in something you're really emotionally invested in, is the amazing and uplifting conversations you have along the way. Last week, saw two such conversations. The first was with the amazing Kate Darah at The Ridge .

This charity, based in Dunbar, has achieved so much in heritage skills preservation and social cohesion. Please check out their website to see for yourself exactly how The Ridge is making huge strides in all the right areas.

It was fascinating to hear the insights of the Carnegie UK last week, as well as speaking at University of Aberdeen myself - on the impact of wellbeing on achievement and actualisation.

More and more, the importance of acknowledging, encouraging and measuring wellbeing is being attributed to heightened outcomes, resilience and happiness levels. I can't wait to see how the concept of wellbeing continues to integrat into social provision projects and takes its rightful place as a cornerstone of our respective ways of life.

It was a pleasure to attend Consultants For Good State of the Nation for Scotland meet-up, last Friday. Some really illuminating presentations and conversations.

Most notably, it was great to hear about tools such as SCVO's Third Sector Tracker.

Giving insights into the challenges faced by charity organisations, this tool is a great one for enacting change as well.
