Our Summer Pony Camps are designed to be fun, welcoming and confidence-building for children who love horses.

Whether they ride regularly or simply adore ponies, camp days are packed with:

Join us for our popular Fun Rides across our beautiful 500 acre farm, with miles of private off-road riding, optional jumps, stunning scenery and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

If you're starting to plan the school holidays and have a horse-mad child at home, we’ve got plenty coming up this summer at Llangorse Riding Centre.

From confidence-building Pony Camps to our popular Children’s Riding Holidays, there are lots of opportunities for young riders to learn new skills, make friends and spend time outdoors with our wonderful horses and ponies.

Our riding activities include:

✨ Scenic rides through 25+ miles of private riding routes
✨ Grooming & tacking up
✨ Stable management skills
✨ Gymkhana games & quizzes
✨ Friendly, experienced instructors

We also offer weekly Riding lessons, Beginners Rides and Pony Rides (from 4 years +)

A space has become available in our Tuesday evening riding club! 🐴

Do you have a horse-mad youngster aged 4–6 who would love to learn to ride?

We have one space available in our Tuesday 5.45pm beginner riding lesson group at Llangorse Riding Centre.

✨ Suitable for beginners
✨ Small group lessons (maximum 3 riders)
✨ Friendly and supportive environment
✨ 30-minute weekly lesson
✨ £13.75 per lesson (paid in blocks of 4)

Summer is the perfect time to visit Base Camp Café at Llangorse - whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or cake.

Take a seat on our covered balcony and enjoy stunning views across Llangorse Lake and the Brecon Beacons. With outdoor heaters in place, you can relax in comfort - come rain or shine!

The café welcomes everyone: climbers, horse riders, campers, walkers, cyclists, and passers-by. With seating for 30 indoors and 24 outside, there’s plenty of space… even for your well-behaved furry friends 🐾

We serve a range of freshly prepared meals and light bites, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available across our varied menu.

Whether it’s a post-adventure refuel or a relaxed lakeside stop, we’d love to welcome you this summer.
