Our Enforcement officers have been using drones to detect and deter seasonal spikes in fish poaching across Essex.

Fish poaching is the act of individuals fishing without permission in areas where private fishing rights exist. This constitutes a criminal offense under Schedule 1 of the Theft Act 1968.

Our lightweight drones allow us to inspect fishing areas much faster than on foot, and often don't give criminals a chance to escape or hide. They also act as an excellent deterrent, while providing reassurance to law-abiding anglers.

Alerted by a member of public to a fly-tip. Searched with a fine tooth comb (and a drone). Address and car number plate recovered, sent to Enforcement Team for further action.

Drones can be used to quickly and safely inspect hazardous environments, such as this severely fire damaged roof, without the need for ladders, scaffolding or dangerous building access.

RMC operate under CAA OSC permissions, allowing us to fly enterprise-grade drones in areas simply off limits to 99% of UK commercial drone operators.

Churches are such a vital part of our history and it's been an absolute pleasure being involved in creating a digital-twin of this 15th century church in - the model will be used for historical record keeping, proactive maintenance, future planning and more.

The ready model was captured using 830 photographs taken with a Canon R6 camera and DJI 4 RTK drone. Processed in Capturing Reality software

Last night we were asked to cover the partial decommissioning works of the Operation Transmission short-stay triage point on the A31 between Alresford and Wi******er.

The teams from R&W, IMS Surfacing, and a number of other supply chain contractors worked together throughout the night to remove much of the Op Transmission infrastructure, repair sections of the road and install new concrete barriers at the crossover points.

It was another fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the incredible work that goes on England's motorways and A-roads.

We're back on the roads with the Highways England supply chain, documenting (ground & aerial photography and video) works as the crews from R&W and Extrudakerb carry out improvements to the drainage system along the M3 northbound carriageway at junction 6.

Works involve installing additional channels and outlets to prevent future flooding across the M3 carriageways, under strict COVID19 guidelines (images taken with a 200mm zoom lens which in some cases make people and objects closer than they are).
