This week we've had Siôn from Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Llangynwyd with us for work experience.

Like most people who visit Elite Signs for the first time, he quickly discovered there's far more to our industry than just sticking graphics on vehicles!

After completing his health and safety and tool safety briefings, Siôn spent time with our design, print production, signage and vehicle branding teams to get a feel for how everything comes together behind the scenes.

He got involved in vinyl weeding, wrap training, production tasks and workshop duties. Safe to say he loved the vinyl weeding and wrapping side of things. Emptying bins and sweeping up weren't quite as popular, although every busy workplace needs those jobs doing too!

The team photo only shows some of the team as the rest were busy delivering projects for clients, which probably gave Siôn the most realistic experience possible of life inside a busy signage and vehicle branding company.

The first of eight new Scania trucks has rolled into the fleet for Howel Richards Transport.

This latest addition marks the start of a larger fleet branding programme, with each vehicle designed to create a stronger presence on the road while maintaining the professionalism and consistency the company is known for.

Turning a vision into a vehicle that demands attention. 🔥

When Heatworks Plumbing & Heating South Wales came to us, they had one clear instruction:

“I want it to have a wow factor.”

They weren’t looking for another white van with a logo stuck on the side. They wanted something distinctive, memorable and instantly recognisable.

Working from their existing logo and ideas, our design team developed a striking partial wrap that transforms this Ford Custom into a rolling advertisement for the business. The bold renewable energy inspired graphics flow naturally around the vehicle while keeping the key information clear and easy to read.

The best part?

When the van was unveiled, the owner’s first reaction was simply:

“WOW.”

That’s exactly what great vehicle branding should do.

From understated to unmistakable.

While we’re widely known for commercial vehicle branding and fleet wraps, projects like this show how premium colour change wraps can completely transform personal vehicles too.

This MGS9 supplied by Nathaniel Cars has had a complete transformation with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film in Matte Metallic Emerald Green, paired with gloss black roof wrap, pillar wrap & accents to sharpen the overall look and give the SUV a more premium, aggressive stance.

The satin metallic finish completely changes how the vehicle reacts in different lighting conditions, from subtle and refined through to bold and eye catching in direct sunlight.

The black roof, trims and detailing help break up the size of the vehicle perfectly, while keeping an OEM+ feel rather than looking overdone. With embossed MG logos front and rear for a stealth look.

Digging the new look. 🚧🤙🏻

We recently completed the branding on this massive Hughes & Salvidge Hitachi excavator, currently working on the demolition of the former Ford Bridgend engine plant site.

Plant branding at this scale needs more than just sticking logos on steel. It needs to be durable, highly visible, accurately positioned, and built to handle the harsh realities of life on site. Dust, weather, impact, heat and constant operation all play their part.

Our team produced and installed the graphics to ensure the machine keeps the Hughes & Salvidge brand looking professional whilst working on one of the most recognisable redevelopment projects in South Wales.

And yes… seeing our own van parked beside it really puts the scale of this machine into perspective 👀
