Bore da and Good Morning everyone. Steve from Sierra 27, has asked us to appeal for old tops for males and children. They are to dress their training dummies and live injury volunteers, for their first aid courses. They have to be cut off or covered in fake blood etc. You get the picture. Please drop off at Apollo Business Village between 8.30 am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Many thanks for any clothes you can provide.
There was a good game at the Brewey Field on Saturday, but the Ravens eventually lost, despite a penalty try to them, 26 to 29, to Llandovery. The supporters turned out in very good numbers to support their home team on the first game of the season.

Hi everyone. The Scaffolders have finished the assembling, so work begins tomorrow on the roof over reception. It was delayed due to the weather but it's all systems go from now on.
Bridgend Ravens did well on Saturday, beating Pontypool 50 to 38 points in Super Rygbi Cymru. Well done to them. They play Llandovery next weekend so good luck The Ravens.

We are looking for a reliable and proactive caretaker to join our team at Apollo Business Village. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the business premises, gardening, painting/decorating, light repairs, liaising with tenants, general cleaning, and ensuring site security. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a part-time, hands-on role with a variety of tasks and a supportive team.

Hours: 2 days per week, 8am-3pm, plus 1-hour evening lock-up. Includes a 30-minute lunch break.

Benefits: 11.5 paid holidays per year and access to a company van during the workday.

Bore Da and Good Morning everyone. We have a new member of staff today-Bruce the Harris Hawk. He'll be visiting twice a week to keep the pesky seagulls away. The gulls made such a racket as they spied the hawk, warning all their mates that he was around. We have feathers and droppings everywhere. Hopefully the seagulls will leave the area as they see the hawk over the next month. See photo of Bruce below.

Bore da and Good Morning everyone. It's a busy start to the working week with work being done on an office upstairs. It's a bit noisier than usual but we're accomodating the businesses that need quiet this morning. Our thanks for everyone's co-operation and understanding.

Bore da and Good Morning everyone hope you're all feeling cooler after last week's heatwave. Sleeping was a real problem but last night was much better. If you're looking for a venue to hold courses or meetings our air-conditioned conference room is the place for you. Our rates are very reasonable and there is an iced water machine and tea/coffee/biscuits available if required. So rather than cancel a course or meeting because of the heat, book it with us and you'll have no problems.
I thought a nice cool picture would be helpful now.

Happy Monday everyone. It's a beautiful day but there are a few clouds gathering. It's a quiet start to the day but people have started arriving for a course organised by SIERRA 27 Training. Good luck to them.
Thought I'd show an image of the Japanese Garden at Bryngarw Country Park. It looks well worth a visit. Nature seems to be flourishing at the moment. Bluebells, squirrels and lots of different kinds of birds are visiting gardens all around.
