Job vacancy: Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Competitive salary, Pension & Healthcare Programme, 33 days' holiday

Genvolt Ltd is looking for a capable and organised Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our Operations team in Highley. This is a varied, hands-on role combining stock and materials control with day-to-day purchasing, supplier liaison, logistics, despatch and incoming quality activities.

You do not need to be a senior procurement specialist, but you should be confident working independently, dealing with suppliers, challenging late or incorrect deliveries, comparing pricing and lead times, maintaining accurate stock records and resolving day-to-day quality or delivery issues.

🏆 Ludlow Walking Football FC are Calnahonda Cup Champions! Congratulations to our very own Stuart Morgan and the team! 🏆

Four years of trying, countless miles walked and one very special moment. Ludlow Walking Football FC have finally done it!

Established in 2016, Ludlow Walking Football FC have been travelling to Málaga for the past four years to compete in the prestigious Calahonda Cup. And today, after years of determination, teamwork and a fair bit of Spanish sunshine, the boys have finally got their hands on the trophy.

And what a way to win it!

In a tournament that went right down to the wire, Ludlow needed a little help from an unlikely hero in the final game. Enter Gary Seymour, former landlord of the legendary Rose and Crown in Ludlow, now living the Spanish dream.

With Loughborough, the 2025 champions, standing in the way, Gary stepped up when it mattered most, smashing home a last-minute penalty to secure the result that Ludlow desperately needed.

That single kick handed the Calahonda Cup to his former hometown on goal difference.

What is the difference between electrospinning and electrospraying?

Electrospinning and electrospraying are two distinct techniques that use electric forces from a high-voltage power supply to produce ultra-fine materials from liquid solutions. While they follow the same basic process, they produce vastly different results.

Electrospinning utilises electric forces to create continuous, ultra-thin fibres (nanofibres). This technique stretches the liquid polymer jets into thin filaments that weave together. Solid nanofibres are formed as the solvents evaporate.

Electrospraying, on the other hand, produces fine micro- and nano-sized charged droplets that break from a fine jet. The solvent evaporates, and the droplets form solid or hollow particles. This technique is ideal for targeted drug delivery, tissue engineering, encapsulation and uniform surface coatings.
