Ever wondered what actually goes inside your double glazing?

The space between the panes is filled with argon gas, helping to improve the thermal performance of the unit.

Argon is a naturally occurring, non-toxic gas with a lower thermal conductivity than air. This means it helps reduce heat transfer between the panes, helping the glazing retain more heat inside the property.

So, while you might not see it, argon plays an important role in how double glazing performs.
