Approximately 2.3 million people have gone for talk therapy at the NHS since the start of this pandemic. Recent figures showed that more than 50% of the nation is concerned about their MENTAL HEALTH, but most respondents aren’t seeking help offered by professionals.

Mencap is worried that there are "barriers" currently preventing people with LEARNING DISABILITIES from accessing healthcare. Their concern is that this group could be missing out on receiving urgent diagnoses and treatment. This has been a concern since before the COVID pandemic started.

The pandemic has worsened the situation, with just under 6 million patients nationwide awaiting hospital treatment. 🏥

Luke, who has DOWN'S SYNDROME, proudly claimed his win in front of family and friends after smashing his way through a strict 8-week diet and training regime. The SOCIAL CARE industry is struggling as care homes and Care Providers cannot operate properly due to shortages.

According to Mike Padgham, the Independent Care Group chairman, the staffing challenge has been the worst since the pandemic. His first call for help was in August 2021. Now he’s asking the government to appeal for retired carers, nurses and doctors to come forward. This will be a great help to the struggling sector. It has been announced that an extra £60 million will be given to Local Authorities to support the adult social care response this month. 🏡
