A mystery is unfolding at WERKS… WHO KILLED ROSIE?! 👻🔎

Our lovely Rosie has gone missing, and we're calling on the WERKS community to help solve the case!

Could the culprit be a musical murderer hiding in the basement? Or perhaps a devilish designer who's planned the perfect crime?

Join us for a rather unusual WERKS After After Hours, filled with mystery, suspicious characters, a few drinks and plenty of laughs.

📅 Thursday 29th October
🕔 5PM – 8PM
🕵️ Investigation begins at 6PM

WERKS members are welcome to bring friends and family along. The more detectives we have, the better our chances of solving the mystery!

🎟️ This is a FREE event for all our members, but please register so we know who's joining the investigation.

🚨 RSVP closes Monday 26th October.

See you there, detectives. And remember… trust no one. 👀

Meet — a Brighton Drum & Bass act creating, producing and releasing music from their studio here at WERKS.

If you know the DnB scene, there’s a good chance you already know the name. From releases on Viper Recordings and collaborations with other artists to DJ sets and their live-band shows, they’ve spent years building their own sound — and they’re still busy making what comes next.

WERKS is made up of businesses and people doing completely different things under the same roof. Producers. Artists. Designers. Therapists. Agencies. Freelancers. Growing teams.

Different businesses. Different ways of working. Plenty of crossover in between.

Very happy to have Killer Hertz as part of it. 💚

So say hello to Killer Hertz. 👋
And maybe turn the volume up for this one.

We couldn’t resist this one. ✊✂️
A little office-life humour, with a very WERKS ending. 💚

Behind the jokes is something we care quite a lot about: giving people different ways to work as their needs change.

A day away from home. A regular desk. Somewhere professional to meet. Your own private office. More room as your team grows.

Not sure which would work best for you? Have a chat with us and we’ll help you find the right fit.

One of our NetWERKS members has been with us almost from the very beginning. 💚

So when we asked him why he chose WERKS — and why he’s stayed — we were particularly interested to hear the answer.

A lovely place to work, a community around him and, over the years, opportunities to work with other members he’s met here too.

That’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

A workspace can give you a desk or an office. But it’s the people inside it who turn a building into a community.

Thank you for being part of ours for all these years. 💚

Coffee breaks at WERKS are rarely just about the coffee. ☕️

They’re the quick catch-up before getting back to work, the chat that turns into an idea, the meeting that feels a little less formal, or simply the excuse to step away from the screen for five minutes.

And with cafés across our WERKS locations, there’s always somewhere to pause, refuel and reconnect.

Because sometimes the best part of the working day happens away from the desk. 💚

Looking for workspace advice? Start with the WERKS blog. 💚

We’ve been putting together practical guides for freelancers, creatives, small businesses and growing teams who are trying to work out what kind of space actually fits them.

That includes questions like:
🏢 How much office space does a small team need?
💻 Coworking or private office?
🤝 What if clients or freelancers only join you occasionally?
📈 How do you choose a space that can grow with you?
🔑 What should actually be included in a flexible office?

Our latest article explores a setup we’re particularly excited about: small private offices for everyday work, with additional shared meeting/team space when you need to bring more people together.

So if you’re thinking about your next workspace — or just trying to understand your options — have a browse.

What’s getting in the way of your best work?

Maybe working from home is becoming more distracting than productive.

Maybe you’re tired of carrying everything you need from place to place.

Maybe your team has grown, you need somewhere to meet clients, or the kind of work you do needs a completely different type of space.

There’s no single way to work — and there shouldn’t be a single type of workspace either.

At WERKS, we offer co-WERKSpaces, dedicated desks, private offices, meeting rooms, virtual offices and creative spaces across Brighton and Lewes.

Swipe through and see which option could solve the problem you’re dealing with right now. 💚

This Thursday: WERKS After Hours is back — with a little something extra behind the bar. 🍸

For September’s special edition, we’re teaming up with local Brighton distillery for an evening of good drinks, good people and an easy excuse to close the laptop and catch up with your fellow WERKS members.

Vault will be bringing along their speciality vermouth cocktails, sustainably sourced and packaged, with a chance to discover a little more about the story and flavours behind each drink.

As always, After Hours is free for WERKS members and open to members from across all our locations. Because making space for our community to meet, connect and unwind is just as important as making space to work. 💚

📅 Thursday 24th September
⏰ From 6pm
🍸 WERKS × Vault Cocktail Night
💚 WERKS members only
📍 WERKS Central, Middle Street
🍹 £5 pints + special drink deals

No booking. No agenda. Finish your WERK, come along and join us for a drink.

See you After Hours. ✨

Looks like word about WERKS has travelled… quite far. 👽💻

He’s found the Wi-Fi, picked his desk and got straight to WERK.
We haven't had much conversation yet, but we're giving him time to settle in. 😂

If your own remote-working setup is starting to feel a little too remote, come and spend a day with us.

WERKS is home to freelancers, founders, small businesses and teams who want somewhere to get things done and people to connect with along the way.

Coworking, meeting rooms and private offices are available across our Brighton & Lewes spaces.

👽 Earthlings welcome too.
Tag the most remote worker you know.
