Situated in Douglas on the picturesque Isle of Man, Celtic House stands as an impressive new headquarters for a leading telecoms provider. Embracing a blend of natural materials, the interior exudes a contemporary yet timeless ambience.

GB Acoustics was brought on board for this significant project by Bramden Investments on the Isle of Man. Initially tasked with overseeing the intricate PetFelt tiled ceiling in the office's dynamic atrium space, our involvement expanded rapidly to encompass acoustic solutions across all four floors. Working closely with the architect and interior design team, GB Acoustics meticulously crafted hundreds of precision-cut CNC tiled components to fulfil the design brief, resulting in an acoustic design that seamlessly complements and elevates this remarkable space.

Project: Priory School Lewes
Application: 160 Acoustic Baffles over three classrooms.
Installation:

Acoustic Baffles were installed in three classrooms at this secondary school in Lewes, East Sussex. The classrooms shared a 6-metre ceiling and consequently, an exceptionally large average reverberation time of 1.67 seconds (rt60), making teaching and learning equally difficult. Post-treatment we halved the reverberation to a very healthy 0.84 seconds, not only making the spaces a viable learning environment but also bringing them up to BB93 performance standards.
