I saw a post going wild today on Facebook from somone saying she’s always felt like the outsider.

Believe it or not, I’ve never really felt like I fit in anywhere either.

Not polished enough for the professionals.
Not spiritual enough for the spiritual gang.
At the school gate I’m the awkward mum always bashing off somewhere.
When my 22 year old was at school, I was often mistaken for his sister 🙄

This morning I found myself about to lean into the hundreds of comments. This person said she was never picked at PE and was sick of the popular groups.

And I felt it. I spent years wishing I could just *fit* in and be part of the “popular crowd.”

Then I realised something. I could build my own platform and attract the people like me, the ones who never quite fit the mould.

So that’s what I did.

I stopped waiting to be chosen and I picked myself. Over and over.

Loads of epic people joined me along the way.

Some stayed.
Some didn’t.

But I’m having a blast 🔥🔥

Everyone counts the cost of the room. Almost nobody counts the cost of staying out of it.

£400 accommodation. £350 flights. Then the meals, the extras, all of it. On paper, a thousand pounds to go and speak at someone else’s retreat.

Here’s what the spreadsheet doesn’t show you.
In that room I met .

We didn’t know each other from Adam. But two days in an intimate space does what a hundred DMs never will, we didn’t just connect, the friendship escalated fast.
