Due to the extreme weather, we have made the decision to close Engine Shed for the day on Thursday 25 June.

If you need somewhere cool to work, we’d suggest PRESS cafe at EQ on Victoria Street or a local cafe.
If you need help, please email [email protected]

We will reopen again on Friday morning.

Engine Shed will close its doors later this year, marking the end of a 13‑year chapter at the heart of Bristol’s innovation ecosystem. Since 2013, it has supported thousands of entrepreneurs, hosted SETsquared Bristol, delivered more than a thousand events annually and brought more than 40,000 people through its doors each year.
As the University’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus (TQEC) develops, Engine Shed’s legacy will continue through the Bristol Innovations Zone, which will host SETsquared and a new generation of deep‑tech businesses.
