To all parents
There has been lots of information circulating in the media regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). In the highly unlikely event a local situation does occur, it may be a difficult time for your family and mine, which may affect our health, finances and daily lives.
After today's COBRA meeting, I thought it best to issue to this policy regarding my settings stance on the evolving situation regarding Coronavirus.
•If one of your children are displaying signs of Coronavirus, namely a cough, or a high temperature then they will not be able to come to my setting for *7 days*. If this situation does occur and I am open then full fees will still remain payable
•If my children's school closes as a precaution for Coronavirus then I shall remain open and full fees will remain payable
•If any of your school age children have their school shut as a precaution and you decide not to send your younger child to my setting, I will be open and full fees will be payable
•if my child school closes due to Coronavirus being identified there and it is necessary for my children to enter an isolation period (currently 14 days), I will close my setting for this period. We will then have a fair and balanced discussion regarding fees
•if you or anyone in your household has to self isolate due to Coronavirus, your child will not be able to come to my setting however full fees will be payable as I will be open
•If anyone in my household has to self isolate due to Coronavirus then I will not be able to open. If this situation does occur then no fees during this period will be due.
To reduce footfall in my setting I am going to enforce a strict doorstep drop off and collection policy. Upon arrival all children will need to wash their hands as per the government's advice. This will commence immediately.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss these points further then please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Kind regards
Elizabeth
