UPDATE
STAGECOACH HAS REMOVED THE ENTIRE LAWRENCE WESTON SECTION FROM THE NO 10 ROUTE WITH NO EXPLANATION. I’M WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM STAGECOACH.

Bus no 10 change of route 15 Jan to 3 May 2024

From Monday 15 January, until 3 May 2024, Kings Weston Road is closed between Kings Weston Lane and the Shirehampton Road/Westbury Lane junction, for restoration and refitting of the historic footbridge. It will be great to have the bridge back and functioning.

Unfortunately this means the number 10 bus won’t be serving the Kings Weston Lane stops. Your nearest stops will be Moorgrove (Long Cross) or Elberton Road (Westbury Lane).

If you can’t walk that far, you can use the Westlink service. You can call 0117 457 8561 to book a journey. It’s the same price as scheduled services and you can use your travelcard.

Water voles are busily burrowing into a new home at one of the UK’s newest wetlands near Bristol after they were released onto the site. With its ditches and vegetation, the wetlands are the perfect habitat for these brown furry mammals which are amongst the most endangered species in the U.K. Wat...

Did you know you can get a monthly ticket on the Severn Beach Line (Bristol-Avonmouth-Severn Beach) for just £34.60 which equals just £1.73 Per day (assuming 5 days return travel per week) or 87p per single! Alternatively there is a £9 weekly ticket, which could save you £6 a week or more (Return from Avonmouth to Bristol Temple Meads is £3) This was new to me!
