Not every day in business can be perfect.
In fact, every day brings its own range of challenges—and today certainly delivered a few.
Our Director, David Dixon, has been out across Hertfordshire conducting site surveys for our client Cancer Research UK, while our fitter Jason travelled to another location in Malvern.
Dave has been enjoying the new electric Kia PV5, with its range exceeding all expectations.
Jason’s trusty Ford Transit—the long-serving workhorse of our installation team—had other ideas. Its engine ground to a halt, resulting in an unscheduled trip to Strensham Services.
The AA’s technical assessment? The van was, to use the polite engineering term, “pretty much shagged.”
More than six hours later, Jason was still waiting for a recovery vehicle to bring him and the van back to Bristol.
But this is the reality of running a small business. Things don’t always go to plan, and it’s how you respond that matters.
No clients have been let down. Jason will move into one of our smaller vehicles, future vehicle options were already under consideration, and N3 VAN will head to the garage for a thorough diagnosis.
We’ve pivoted, rearranged and kept everything moving.
As of now, the surveys and installations continue—although one member of the fleet may be enjoying an extended rest.
All in a day’s work at N3 Display Graphics.
