Bit of tiling over the weekend on this bathroom renovation for local landlord

23/09/2026

We recently partnered with a local landlord to bring this stunning kitchen transformation to life ✨

While the client preferred to handle the initial rip-out themselves, our team stepped in to handle the precise installation of the brand-new kitchen. From layout alignment to the final finishing touches, we ensured everything was fitted to the highest standard.

The result is a sleek, durable, and modern space built to withstand heavy use for many years to come.

Called out to this utility room after the old plaster started failing and blowing in several spots, exposing the original backing coat. We walked the customer through all the available repair and replacement options to ensure a long-lasting fix. In the end, they opted for a full re-skim to get everything smooth and ready for paint. Another solid transformation in the books!

Project Update: Kitchen & Dining Area Renovation 🛠️ ✨

We recently responded to a call-out by a local builders regarding a large kitchen and dining area where several external walls had been severely compromised by damp.

Here is how we tackled the job:

Damp Remediation:
Stripped all the compromised render back to the brickwork on the external walls.

Weatherproofing:
Applied a heavy-duty, two-coat waterproof render, devil-floated and prepped to provide a solid, smooth base ready for plastering.

Structural Improvements:
Addressed the bay window wall by installing a new Damp Proof Course (DPC), a vapour barrier, and precision stud work.

Laying the Foundation:
Square out the layout of the kitchen to improve the overall space and clean up some of the original walls' historical quirks.
