A Heartfelt Thank You, and a Hope for What Comes Next.
I wanted to take a moment to share a heartfelt message with you.
Earlier this year, I released a collection of community songs — written with the hope that they might bring people together, spark a bit of joy, and help raise funds for something very close to my heart: a **fully accessible music academy and venue**, right here in the West of England.
If I’m honest, the songs haven’t reached quite as many people as I’d imagined. Perhaps I was a little idealistic in thinking they’d take off quickly. But the dream is still alive — and I still believe in it. I’ve learned that some dreams just take time, teamwork, and a lot of faith to grow.
What keeps me going is seeing how the songs are already making a difference through **Nowhearthis.music** workshops. Laura’s passion for “music for all” has given them real purpose. Playing together at the NHTM Summer Party, and hearing Kevin, Grace, and Laura perform the song again at the Heaven Coffee House, Backwell open mic, were reminders of why music matters — and why we need to make sure creative opportunities are open to everyone in our community.
So, from the bottom of my heart — thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, and your time. If the songs mean something to you, please do share them with others. Every listen, download, and share helps keep this dream alive.
And — excitingly — the 🎄🎅🏻Christmas version🎅🏻 🎄of the song, "The Thrush and the Snail, (On Christmas Day)", will be released on **November 7th**. I’d love your help spreading it far and wide. Together, we can keep the message of kindness, community, and inclusion ringing out through the music. 💛
