Proof that some of the best sales calls aren't sales calls at all.

Last week I'd asked an old client about a chicken wing restaurant he'd once recommended.

Reconnecting with him over something so simple nudged me to the front of his mind and in an almost 'Oh while I've got you' kind of way - he shot back with a message about coaching.

For years I've been encouraging my clients to connect with their clients and prospects with the intent of building a relationship, rather than making a sale.

We're all familiar with the fact that 'people buy from people' and if we remember this when it comes to our business development efforts, we have a better chance of not only landing more sales, but making it feel more genuine and less awkward.

After years of teaching this tactic to my own coaching and mentoring clients, I've now used this example to write a quick little article about how sometimes, the best sales calls aren't sales calls at all. Have a read 👇🏽
