Our final Introduction to Enterprise cohort and a brilliant group to finish on.

A room full of Bristol start ups at the very beginning of their journey. It has been a privilege to support so many ideas, ambitions and new businesses through BRISBES.

As the project draws to a close on 31st March, we would simply like to say thank you.

Feeling inspired after yesterday’s event!
Organised by and hosted at Triodos, the room was absolutely buzzing — such an incredible turnout of passionate, purpose-driven businesses and organisations across our city.

Alongside some brilliant networking, we loved learning more about the tailored support available for Bristol businesses, the Bristol Living Wage movement, and the range of funding and grant opportunities out there. So much valuable insight in one place!

One of the highlights was hearing Hannah Egerton share her journey in launching . With the help of several grants — including support from BRISBES — plus free business advice, she’s grown an inspiring food business rooted in creativity and community. Her story is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when the right support meets the right idea. 💡💛

Bristol truly is a supportive city, and events like this show just how committed we all are to helping our local entrepreneurs thrive.

What a brilliant bunch of entrepreneurs at in Bedminster today!

We had the pleasure of hosting a LinkedIn workshop for a truly inspiring group of artists, consultants, and community managers — all passionate about using LinkedIn to grow their networks and amplify their work.

Together, we explored the often tricky question for creatives:
“How do I show up online without feeling like I’m selling myself?”

The conversation flowed around:
🔹 What to post – sharing your process, purpose and personality
🔹 When to post – finding consistency without pressure
🔹 How to promote yourself – with confidence, authenticity and clarity

For many creatives, self-promotion can feel awkward or unnatural. But the truth is, LinkedIn doesn’t have to be stiff or salesy. It can be a space for genuine storytelling, connection, and celebration of your work.
