Supporting our Charity of the Year , we recently spent an afternoon as a team volunteering at St Paul’s Learning Centre, helping make 160 candles to sell at Christmas markets over the coming months.
 
LoveWell supports women who have experienced trafficking and exploitation, providing a safe, supportive route into employment through hands-on business experience, training and ongoing mentoring.
 
It was great to get involved in a small way and support the work they do to help women rebuild confidence, recognise their strengths and move towards a better future.

Purplefish is supporting the University of Bristol to recruit participants for a paid creative workshop exploring how experiences of healthcare and education systems shape outcomes for Black and mixed Black young people in Bristol.

The University of Bristol is seeking participants from Black and mixed Black men and women aged 16+, and parents and carers of Black or mixed Black boys and girls, to share their lived experiences and help shape recommendations for local health and education leaders.

An early start for Lucy and Zoe!

They headed to to catch the sunrise dawn launch of the balloons while attending Bristol Business Breakfast.

Perfect flying conditions meant the 4.30 am alarm was absolutely worth it as they watched the balloons lflot into the sky above the city at sunrise!

Following that attendees of the event were treated to two inspiring panel debates regarding how to build a city of opportunity here in Bristol, and how business can harness Bristol’s cultural strength to create economic opportunity. The sky’s the limit!

A week in the life of a Purplefish intern... ✨

Over the last six weeks, Amelie from the University of Bristol has joined us at Purplefish as an intern, immersing herself in the world of PR, marketing and communication. She’s drafted social content, supported client projects and supported media shoots, overseeing communications and filming BTS content.

Ending last week with an incredible night in London supporting our client Walk the Walk for their MoonWalk 2026 💗

A huge congratulations to our Jo and Zoë for completing the half-marathon and raising over £1,000 alongside thousands of others taking on overnight marathon, half-marathon and 10k routes across the city in support of the fight against breast cancer and other cancers. With over £2 million being raised for the whole event!

A brilliant event to be part of and a powerful reminder of what collective action and community support can achieve.
