6 Jan 2012. Oliver Dixey and Rob Sheppard, a local social worker, returning home on "Pill Hobbler" after spending 5 days camped on tiny Denney Island. Their adventure raised more than £2,000 for Pill's only swimming pool at Crockerne Primary School, and also for Children's Hospice South West. They camped under an upturned fibreglass dinghy which they used to get ashore, continuously battered by driving rains and high winds.
