ad. One thing I completely underestimated when I started renovating was just how much waste I’d create.

For six months I kept piling everything at the end of the garden and leaving it for future Ollie to deal with.

Future Ollie eventually ran out of space.

I thought one large skip would be enough. It wasn’t.

Huge thanks to Bateman Skips for making the whole thing straightforward and for somehow getting the truck all the way down my rear lane.

Also, watching them swap a full skip for an empty one was far more interesting than it had any right to be.

They cover Bristol and Bath, so worth giving them a shout if you’re renovating locally.

🚫 PLASTERBOARD CONTAMINATION ALERT 🚫

Just a reminder to all customers and contractors: plasterboard MUST NOT be mixed into general waste skips.
Plasterboard contains gypsum, which reacts when mixed with general waste. This can create hazardous gases and lead to environmental fines if not disposed of correctly.

✅ Please separate plasterboard from all other waste

✅ Use separate bags or plasterboard only skips

✅ If you're unsure, just ask — we’re always happy to help!
