I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately… 👀

And do you know what? Sometimes life just gets busy!

Between work, family, making plans, enjoying a few days away and generally trying to keep all the plates spinning, social media has slipped down my list of priorities.

And actually… that’s quite a good reminder of exactly why businesses outsource their admin. 😂

🤖 AI is everywhere at the moment…

It can write emails, create content, organise information and save us all a bit of time. I use it myself because, let’s face it, it’s a fantastic tool.

But here’s something I’ve been thinking about…

AI doesn’t remember how you like things done.

It doesn’t notice when you’re feeling overwhelmed.

It doesn’t pick up the phone to reassure a client.

It doesn’t adapt when your carefully planned day suddenly goes out of the window.

And it certainly doesn’t celebrate your wins with you!

As a Virtual Assistant, I believe the biggest difference I offer isn’t just the admin support—it’s the relationship.

Getting to know your business.
Understanding your priorities.
Working in a way that suits you.
Being someone you trust to get things done without having to explain everything twice.

Technology is here to make our lives easier, and I’m all for embracing it. But I don’t think it should replace the human connection.

For me, AI is a brilliant tool.

☀️ The summer holidays have arrived… and suddenly the workday looks very different!

One of the unexpected perks of working from home during a UK heatwave? ☀️

No commuting.

No stuffy office.

No pretending that 28°C is a perfectly reasonable temperature to be wearing business attire.

Instead, I’m sitting at my desk, working away in what can only be described as “business casual… from the waist up.” 😆

The beauty of being a Virtual Assistant is that I can stay productive while keeping cool, with a constant supply of iced drinks and a fan working harder than I am.

Of course, there is always the slight panic when an unexpected video call pops up and you suddenly have three seconds to look professional! 😂

But jokes aside, working remotely offers flexibility that helps us work comfortably and efficiently, whatever the weather decides to throw at us.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some emails to manage and an important meeting with my fan. 🌬️
