A lovely compliment received today.
I have been caring for a gentleman whilst his wife went away last week.
Without my support his wife wouldn’t have been able to have the much needed respite which is so important for carers and this is the first time she had been able to do it.
I genuinely, thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him he was a pleasure to be around and great conversation was had and this is why I love my job!

Here is what she said:

‘I just wanted to thank you, ‘A’ was full of compliments and praise for you, He really enjoyed going to chew valley for fish and chips. I can’t thank you enough for your consideration to ‘A’ and providing him with a very interesting time, I need to go away more often!’

A lovely recommendation received from a client this week I thought I’d share here:

‘Rosie supported my parents, in particular my Mum, for a short period of time before my Mum passed away. Rosie provided a meal for them both on her visits as well as some personal care but more importantly spending time with Mum.

Mum looked forward to Rosie's visits for her chats, but also Rosie was kind enough to take her out and about on a couple of occasions - especially to her local Church which was a great comfort to her.

Nothing was too much trouble for Rosie. Her kindness and caring was evident in every visit to my parents. My family are very grateful for that and the time she spent with Mum.

I would recommend Rosie for any support needed.’

That’s why I love my job, making a difference to people’s lives even in small ways is so important and feels so good 🥰

Had a great meeting with Rosie from Rosie's Care and Support at the weekly coffee morning organised at Chew Valley Library. Lovely venue and great coffee. We discussed how her business is progressing and what additional support I can give her to make her enterprise a great success.

I received an absolutely lovely email from one of my clients and wanted to share what she said as it really gave me the warm fuzzies and the reassurance that I am doing the right career for both me and my clients! Here is what she said.

We got so much done and it was so helpful that you let me join in and you checked everything out with me before moving / doing stuff. It was a very productive day that’s left me feeling mentally so much better, and it’s so nice to have a lush clean home to relax in now.’

How lovely is that?! I’ve been helping this client with decluttering and selling items, cleaning and pet care so far but we also have plans for much more!

Welcome to Rosie’s Care and Support where caring is my calling and support is my specialty! I'm thrilled to share a bit about what I do and how I can make your life easier and more enjoyable.

I am all about kindness and understanding. With a background that spans the globe, I've met people from all walks of life, and I truly believe in finding common ground with everyone. Whether you're young or young at heart, from any background, or facing any challenge, know that you're welcomed and understood with me.

I've had the privilege of working with amazing individuals with various needs, from autism to dementia and everything in between. My experience as a nursing co-ordinator means I know how to provide top-notch care while respecting your independence and preferences. Plus, my time as a trained chef and owning a cleaning business means I can handle all the little things around your home with ease.

And let's not forget about our furry friends! As a huge animal lover myself, I'm more than happy to help care for your pets too. Because let's face it, they're family!

So, what do I offer? Well, think of me as your all-around supportive friend. Need someone to chat with over a cup of tea? I’m here. Want a hand with meal prep or keeping your home tidy? Consider it done. Fancy a trip out for a change of scenery or need to get to an appointment with someone who can support you throughout the whole thing? then I am here. I also hold qualifications in Counselling, Community Development, Customer Service, Mental Health, Autism, Special Educational Needs and disability amongst others which really help me to understand people as individuals.
