🦺 WORK SAFE WEDNESDAY! 🖤❤️

Are you choosing the right access equipment for the job? 👀

When working at height, using the correct equipment isn’t just about getting the job done — it’s about keeping everyone safe! 🏗️

✅ Assess the task – Consider the working height, reach and environment.
✅ Choose the right equipment – From scissor lifts and cherry pickers to scaffold towers, make sure it’s suitable for the job.
✅ Check before use – Inspect equipment for damage and ensure it’s safe to operate.
✅ Get trained – Make sure operators have the correct training and qualifications.

⚠️ Remember: the wrong equipment can increase the risk of falls, injuries and accidents. Never take shortcuts when it comes to safety!

At Davis Access, we offer IPAF, PASMA and a range of other training courses to help you work safely and confidently at height. 💪

❤️🫀 Restart a Heart Day – Every Second Counts! 🫀❤️

Today, 16th October, is Restart a Heart Day, and our team at Davis Access got involved by taking part in First Aid training! 👏

Held annually, Restart a Heart Day raises awareness of the importance of learning life-saving CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Led by Resuscitation Council UK alongside organisations including St John Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation, the campaign helps give people the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.

Our staff refreshed their skills and practised important life-saving techniques, reminding us all that knowing what to do in those crucial moments can make a real difference. 🚑

At Davis Access, safety is at the heart of everything we do, and that means being prepared to help others when it matters most. ❤️

Would you know what to do if someone suffered a cardiac arrest? Learning CPR could help save a life!🫀

JO’S FAVOURITE MACHINE! 🚨

When we asked Jo from our Hire team which machine deserves a little more love, she didn’t hesitate… the Z-30/20N!💪

Jo thinks this is one of the most underrated machines and we can see why!👀

🏗️ Working Height: 10.89m
⬆️ Platform Height: 8.89m
↔️ Max Outreach: 6.25m

The articulated boom design allows operators to safely complete overhead tasks while maintaining excellent productivity, making it ideal for working around obstacles, machinery, racking systems, pipework and building structures that can restrict access.

💡Compact, versatile and easy to operate, the Z-30/20N is designed for safe and efficient access for both indoor and outdoor working-at-height applications.

It’s a great choice for:
🔧 Maintenance
🏗️ Installation
🔍 Inspection
⚙️ Servicing
🏢 Refurbishment projects

And when you need that extra bit of outreach, this machine really comes into its own!🙌
So, Jo might be onto something… 🤔
Is the Z-30/20N the most underrated machine?

🏗️PASMA TIME-LAPSE!🎥

We captured our PASMA course today and managed to turn the tower er****on into a speedy little time-lapse!😎

If only building a tower was actually this quick!😂⏱️

Behind the speed of the video is something really important — building a tower safely and correctly takes time.🦺

Our delegates take the time to understand the correct procedures, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, check each stage and make sure the tower is erected safely and securely before it’s used.

Because when it comes to working at height, there’s no such thing as rushing a safe job.👷‍♂️🏗️

🎬 Watch the tower go up in seconds…
🦺 Remember, in real life, take your time, do it right and stay safe!
