We're very pleased to share this news.

Don Cameron MBE, Managing Director of Cameron Balloons Ltd, has been awarded this year’s Gold Air Medal by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), in recognition of his significant contribution to the world of air sports.

The Gold Air Medal is the FAI’s highest distinction in air sports, recognising exceptional achievement and contributions to aviation and aerial sporting activities worldwide.

The award represents a tremendous honour for Don Cameron, whose work with Cameron Balloons has helped shape the development of hot-air ballooning and the wider ballooning industry.

Don travelled to Lausanne, Switzerland, to receive the award yesterday evening, where the FAI celebrated Don’s achievements and his longstanding association with ballooning, as well as the contribution he has made to the international air sports community.

Well done Don!

We’re very pleased to share the news that one of our dealers Saburo “Sabu” Ichiyoshi and his achievements in ballooning have been recognised by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) Ballooning Commission.

Sabu was Inducted into the FAI's Hall of Fame at a ceremony held at the Balloon Museum last Friday, in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he has formally been recognised "as a central architect of modern Japanese ballooning."

Well done Sabu on this fantastic achievement and on all your adventures, services as a Cameron Balloons dealer and to the world of ballooning.
