Last year, we had the pleasure of working on a short film titled Last Gasp.
We’re proud to share that is has been internationally recognised short film highlighting the human consequences of environmental negligence.
The film tells the story of Raad Karim, a father from Rumaila, Iraq, who seeks accountability from a major oil shareholder after toxic gas flaring is linked to his daughter’s leukemia. Blending suspense with social commentary, Last Gasp raises critical questions about corporate responsibility and environmental justice.
The film has received significant international recognition, including:
• Winner Best Short Fiction Film and Best British Director Short - London Director Awards
• Best Impact & Best Ensemble — Phoenix Rising International Film Festival, London
• Social Impact Award & Best Short Drama of the Year — Activists Without Borders Film Festival
• Official Selections and premieres in Washington, Italy, and at the House of Commons
