Doghouse would like to extend their warmest wishes to Sir David Attenborough on his recent 100th birthday.

We have been incredibly fortunate to work on many fantastic series featuring David Attenborough over the years. More recently, we had the pleasure of working with BBC Studios Natural History unit and Lux Aeterna to post produce a very special film celebrating his 100th birthday with an important letter from King Charles.

Broadcast live on Friday 8th May from the Royal Albert Hall and available to catch-up on BBC iPlayer.

First broadcast in 1979 and watched by 500 million people, it launched David Attenborough’s career as the most successful and influential wildlife film-maker of our time.

We are excited to announce what the Doghouse VFX and Post team have been working on for the last 18 months… Andy’s Dino Island.

A brand new 15 part series for BBC Studios propelling Andy and Jen into a new adventure with even more action and amazing Dinosaur encounters. Dino Island is a brand new location created in CG with creature work, layout and effects produced entirely in house at Doghouse with an exceptionally talented team.

We can’t wait to see how this is received. Alongside the team at BBC Natural History Unit, we have raised both the entertainment and quality bar and want this to appeal to a wider family audience, we hope you enjoy this as much as your kids!

Series 1 is available this Monday at 17.05pm on CBeebies and daily thereafter. Available on iPlayer too.

Last year, we had the pleasure of working on a short film titled Last Gasp.

We’re proud to share that is has been internationally recognised short film highlighting the human consequences of environmental negligence.

The film tells the story of Raad Karim, a father from Rumaila, Iraq, who seeks accountability from a major oil shareholder after toxic gas flaring is linked to his daughter’s leukemia. Blending suspense with social commentary, Last Gasp raises critical questions about corporate responsibility and environmental justice.

The film has received significant international recognition, including:
• Winner Best Short Fiction Film and Best British Director Short - London Director Awards
• Best Impact & Best Ensemble — Phoenix Rising International Film Festival, London
• Social Impact Award & Best Short Drama of the Year — Activists Without Borders Film Festival
• Official Selections and premieres in Washington, Italy, and at the House of Commons
