September can only mean one thing. The holidays are over, the kids are back to school and the rain and clouds are back ☁️🌦️☔️
That doesn't stop work on site though and our team at the Brabazon site in Bristol have today started the excavation of a lake at the YTL Arena. 🦆🐠🚣‍♀️

The team is making excellent progress at the Brabazon site in Bristol where client, YTL, is building One Brabazon Gateway, a 7 storey office building with supermarket and multi-story car park. Kelston Sparkes is on site undertaking enabling works. The piling mats are taking shape nicely. Helped by the great weather of course 😎🌞

We're currently working at M5 Junction 10 where a new road linking J10 to west Cheltenham is being built and the A4019 and Tewkesbury Road is being widened. Some very careful subsoil strips are being undertaken by our team around an area where some roman farm settlements and old ditches have been found by Architectural Research Services.
The fascinating work and findings are being documented on the ARS website for anyone who is interested in following along

When it gets a bit warm on a Kelston Sparkes job site - we get the gazebos out and rustle up some extra cold bottles of water to provide a bit of shade from the sun and additional hydration. 😎💦⛱️|
