Back to Rob's in St Werburghs today to complete this fence using larch boards. We are both really pleased with it. I look forward to seeing it in a few years after some weathering.

There were complications due to unforeseen circumstances but Bob handled it calmly and got down to finding a resolution immediately which made it a much less stressful situation for me so everything was completed in time and the finish was excellent. I was just as impressed by the internal doors – I had opted for reclaimed doors and locks in the spirit of reusing and avoiding waste but that does make it a harder job then using all new. Bob wasn’t fazed by this and did a lovely job so they look and work just as they should and are in keeping with the rest of the house. A good day today back at Gemma's in St Andrews. Renovation of her bannister with some lovely Edwardian spindles. It was nice to help her out before the painter turns up next week.
