We offer a great package of affordable rents, extremely flexible terms and high quality management services to licensees in all our properties. This is a great opportunity for small businesses to be part of a wider business community sharing great facilities, giving access to resources, advice and networking events through our hub at Easton Business Centre. We are a not for profit social enterprise which reinvests its income into promoting its social aims of improving the economic wealth and vitality of disadvantaged communities through supporting enterprise. Wherever possible we use local suppliers, many are actually our own licensees and through our events programme we promote networking opportunities with the wider business community. Bristol Spaceworks was officially launched in 2010 from a merger of two not for profit social enterprises operating in Bristol's inner city east side, East Bristol Enterprise and Bristol East Side Traders (BEST). From planned maintenance and regular building checks, to those day-to-day issues that inevitably crop up, our team works hard to make sure things get resolved quickly.

Patrick, our Maintenance Supervisor, is often the person making that happen. Constantly moving between our buildings, responding to requests, and helping keep our spaces safe, secure, and running smoothly.

As a not-for-profit, we reinvest back into our buildings, our services, and the businesses using our spaces.

Step inside The Old Library 📚

Our business centre in the heart of St Philip's, Grade II listed and built in the 19th century as a public library for the local community.

It's been carefully refurbished into a genuinely characterful place to work, retaining its half-timbered ceiling, decorated leaded windows, and classical arches.

Last week the Spaceworks team headed to Empire Fighting Chance’s annual quiz.

We came away in second place, thanks in no small part to our top quizzers from Red Spark Digital who joined us for the night!

Empire Fighting Chance uses boxing to support young people facing some of the toughest circumstances in the UK, helping build trust, confidence and direction.

Together, everyone in the room raised £18,215, enough to put 36 young people through their Box Champions programme 🥊

You might notice something new on the walls at Easton Business Centre 👀

We’re pleased to be displaying work by Mark Skelton, a local mixed media artist based at our Old Schoolhouse studios. There’s a piece up behind reception, with a couple more heading into the conference room soon.

Mark’s the first to share his work across our buildings in this way. We’re lucky to have so many talented artists working out of our spaces, and we’re keen to showcase more of that.

This World Art Day, we’re celebrating the makers across our spaces and studios 🎨

Across our buildings, there are people creating every day. They bring a different kind of energy to the spaces around them, and it’s a big part of what makes each site feel like more than just a place to work.
