OMG we’ve only gone and won!!!! 🎉

We are so delighted to have won the Employer Award at the EntreConf awards last night!!!

This means so much to me and the team. Going through a management buyout 18 month ago was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken but the team stepped up and had my back. I would not have been able to do it without their support and the wider team all pulling together. It was a proper team effort!

We have an amazing team of high performers, who are not only great at what they do, but are lovely fun people to work with. We’ve just had our best month in almost 2 years which is a sign that the changes we’ve been making and the new ways of working are paying off.

Thank you team, you are the best!!!

It's been four years since Alex Martin joined Element Recruitment and we can’t believe where the time has gone!

Alex joined us straight from her A levels as our Sales Support Administrator. Since then, she has taken on additional responsibilities and as someone who loves rules and regulations she’s thrived in her role as our Compliance Officer, responsible for making sure our placements, terms and processes are always in line with legislation.

She's also recently taken on a new challenge, playing a key part in how we use our new CRM to improve the experience for our candidates and clients.

Alex is a fountain of knowledge and always knows what is going on, she’s a social butterfly who is a popular member of the team and loves nothing better then correcting a spelling or grammar mistake or getting a good wordle score.

It was great to celebrate with you at the weekend Alex. Thanks for the last 4 years, excited to see what you set your sights on next!

We've just got back from a long weekend in Palma with the Element team and I think it's safe to say it was much needed!🍹

This year felt extra special because it was our 10 year anniversary, which meant we took the whole team, including our admin team. Having everyone there together really made it.

The highlight for everyone was definitely the yacht trip out on the water. Bobbing around in the crystal clear sea with this group was so lovely - there was lots of laughter and the Captain made sure we were well looked after.
We also had lots of time to catch up properly, celebrate our successes (closing 6 offers on Friday whilst around the pool!) and just enjoy some well-earned sunshine. ☀️

The food was brilliant too - some lovely meals out, but the burger bar on Saturday night was something else entirely and very much needed after a long day... 🍔

A big thank you to Charlie, George, Holly and Joe for keeping everything running smoothly while we were away. We wouldn't have been able to switch off without you. ❤️

Here's to the next 10 years! 🥳

Nine years ago today, Lucy AKA: Fieldy joined Element Recruitment UK. But the story started a few years earlier...

Lucy was a client and Steph had been working with her for a number of years, then she was made redundant and went off travelling. When she got back, she wanted help finding her next role and somehow she ended up joining us instead!

For those of you that don't know Fieldy, let's tell you a bit about her.
She is nosy (useful in recruitment). She is impatient (genuinely excellent quality in a temp consultant, no one fills a vacancy faster). There is never, ever a dull moment when she's around, and at any given moment she is probably three minutes from some kind of disaster.

Also, her clients and her candidates love her. People come back to her again and again because she works her socks off for them and she actually cares about them and doing a good job. She is constantly getting recommendations and referrals, which shows how much people enjoy working with her.

Nine years of chaos, hard work, and not reading emails....thank you for all of it. Element would not be the same without you. 💓

Happy 9 years, Fieldy!!!🎉

Friday well spent!

On Friday, we had our most recent social - started the evening with pizza and drinks, then somehow ended up belting out karaoke classics and making our way around a few bars. Safe to say there were plenty of laughs and a few questionable song choices.....🎤

Always good to switch off and spend time with such a great group of people outside of work ❤️
