*Making Tax Digital for Income Tax*

With just one month to go, are you ready?

If your income from self assessment or property is over £50,000, you will need to register for Making Tax Digital.

What is Making Tax Digital? Well, it means from April 2026, you will need to complete quarterly returns to HMRC, in addition to your annual self assessment. This needs to be submitted through a MTD compliant software.

Unfortunately there’s a huge outage on the AWS servers this morning, meaning HMRC, Xero, Canva and lots of other platforms are down and not accessible!
