The final round of the British Radio Car Association national series saw a coming of age moment on Saturday when Team Associated Factory Team driver Daniel Pole took his first national win. In difficult and changeable conditions, it was Dan who made the best of it to take overall TQ and then produce a brilliant defensive drive to take legs 2&3 for the overall win making it 3 wins in the last 3 nationals by 3 different drivers showing the class of the B7.1 ⚔️

Racing the Team Associated RC8B4.2 Euro buggy Iker secured 1st overall from 2nd on the grid, with fellow teammate Erick Becerrill joining him on the podium with a hard fought 3rd place to complete a perfect weekend for the team in Spain.

CML Distribution would like to give a big official welcome to Jack Flynn as he joins the CML/Team Associated junior team for 2026 and beyond.

Jack has just completed his first full season racing the Northwest Regionals and what a season it’s been. Jack won the Under 13’s championship and also picked up the Most Improved Driver award.

We’re really pleased to have Jack joining the full CML/AE team and we’re looking forward to helping him continue to develop and see just how far he can go.

Jack says, “I’d like to thank CML for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to racing and pitting with the full team at the last National at Batley.”

Team Associated is excited to partner once again with Hoonigan to bring you their world-famous Hoonicorn in 1:7 scale radio control form. Designed from the ground up by our in-house Area 51 Design Works engineers, the Team Associated SR7 chassis is our largest and most powerful RC car ever! This makes it the perfect platform for the Hoonicorn and tyre-slaying action!

The 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 (HvW2 spec) builds upon where the original Hoonicorn left off. Taking the car that starred in Gymkhana SEVEN, the team modified the 410 cubic inch Roush Yates Ford V8 heart of the Hoonicorn to now feature a custom twin turbo setup from Garrett that feeds the boost through a custom Sitzer Dynamics intake manifold. The end result? 1,400 horsepower that's fed through the Sadev all-wheel-drive system with paddle shifters. The whole package sits on a set of American Racing VF503 wheels with super sticky Toyo Proxes R888R tyres. Designed from the start to take a car that was already crazy and make it absolutely insane!
