We’re proud to support our local community by helping make emergency first aid equipment more accessible at Redditch’s Woodrow Centre.

STI donated a bleed kit and protective enclosure to Peter Martin of Redditch Self Defence Association for installation at the centre. The enclosure helps keep the kit clearly identified and protected.

A big thank you to Pete for the work he is doing locally, and to everyone involved in helping make the initiative possible.

It was also great to see the story featured in The Redditch Standard.

Good to be back at FSM Live Manchester today.

A strong turnout, insightful seminars and plenty of discussion around lockdown and Martyn’s Law made for a busy day at Emirates Old Trafford.

We also spotted a familiar sight on the Fire Safety Matters display, with STI’s front cover feature from last year still taking pride of place.

And we’re not done with FSM Live for 2026.

Next stop: Scotland. On 26 November, STI will be exhibiting at the first FSM Live Scotland.

Allergy safety in schools is changing.

With new requirements commonly referred to as Benedict’s Law now applying to schools within scope in England, many schools will be reviewing their allergy policies, staff awareness, emergency response plans and storage of adrenaline auto-injectors.

Policies and training are essential, but the practical details matter too.

In an emergency, medication needs to be easy to find, clearly identified and accessible without unnecessary delay.
