Special offers from £20/m2 for superior sawn veneer: check the website to see the special offer packs to welcome in 2023. We have Highland Oak, Wych Elm and Douglas Fir in locally sourced logs from which we can currently deliver sawn veneer at very low prices (unlike most timber prices this year). For example 8 sheets of 1900mm x 200mm x 1.5mm Highland Oak costs only £76 delivered + VAT (equivalent to £25/m2 ). We can also still provide bespoke options from this wood in alternative lengths and widths achieving lower prices than the standard packs.

We may do even better than these low costs for batches of short lengths of these woods (they are more plentiful in the logs and less costly to deliver).

Bespoke Sawn Veneer 1.5mm to 8mm Thickness

In addition to the standard 2.2mm we also cut veneer to your own specification – over the first 12 months providing an online shop over ½ our enquiries have included a bespoke element (variations to the standard shop items). In many cases this has been the thickness with everything from 1.5mm to 8mm specified by you and subsequently delivered in 2021/22. ONE OFF SALES ITEMS
We are getting very encouraging feedback from our new shop customers, many bought our 'ready to finish' sawn constructional veneer directly online but also several customers have contacted us through the new website and subsequently purchased bespoke veneer. In fact around 50% of the batches of products that leave our Highland workshop in Brora are cut and finished to meet a client's specific needs. As a result of this work we are generating small batches of various wood types that may not meet standard shop stock descriptions or may have small defects or otherwise didn't match a specification so we'll sell these as 'UNIQUE SALE ITEMS'. We just put up the first of these today - yeeha!
