🍫 Our charity raffle 1.5kg Easter egg has arrived and is ready to be sent out

🏆 We’ll be drawing the winner live on Wednesday at 1pm, so keep an eye out 👀

It’s been a bit of a struggle in the office not to crack it open already… but we’ll leave that to whoever gets their hands on it

We’ve measured it against an iPhone box and Ciara’s head to give you an idea of the size of it

Yesterday the MCL team headed over to The Hop Tub in Hurstpierpoint for a quiz night and some food 🍔🍻

Food was great, our quiz performance not so much… but a good night all round 😊

Bit of a shame there weren’t any burger questions for Frank to show off his knowledge

Always nice to get out of the office and spend some time together as a team
Think we’ve got some revision to do before the next one… 📚

Frank popped over to the Jack and Jill Inn today after their recent reopening 🍻

He helped get their network sorted and had a chance to catch up with the team while he was there, and of course to try some of the food 🍔

Behind the scenes, we’ve got their broadband all set up, rolled out a full UniFi network, and made sure they’ve got strong, reliable coverage inside and out across the pub for both staff and customers 📶

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be installing their new phone system ☎️

They’ve made the switch from BT to work with a local provider, and we always appreciate it when businesses think of MCL 🤝

There’s plenty more to come too, with a new website and social channels on the way soon, so keep an eye out and give them a follow when they launch 👀

Nominations are now OPEN for the Uckfield Business Awards 2026! 🏆

We’re proud to be sponsoring the Best Place to Eat & Meet Award at this year’s Uckfield Business Awards.

If there’s a café, restaurant, or meeting spot in Uckfield or the surrounding areas that you think deserves recognition, now is the time to nominate them.

Nominations close on Friday 15 May 2026, after which the MCL team will review the entries and select three finalists, before announcing the winner on the night at the awards evening.

The winners will be revealed at the East Sussex National Hotel on Thursday 1st October 2026, where we’ll be celebrating the brilliant businesses that make the Uckfield business community so strong. 🎉
