29TH MAY COMMENTARY AND SUMMARY TAKEN FROM THE BOOK OF PROVERBS
THE WORTH OF WISDOM.
PROVERBS 8
Sadly not everybody is born wise but that is a solvable problem or a redeemable problem if you prefer. The wisest - King Solomon says;
wisdom is available to all, it’s calling on you yet you have to seek it, to find it, show you like it for you to find it.
3 WAYS TO FIND WISDOM; WAYS TO BE WISE:
• Firstly, fear God, pay attention to his words, laws, his precepts
and do that wholeheartedly. They will ensure, and enable you to
easily take the second step;

• Secondly, shun evil. Always think before you make decisions, ask “ what will Jesus do” — WWJD. This acronym WWJD became famous about 20-30 years ago, I was a young adult. In everyday life — think which option will be pleasing to God. Choose good over bad, whatever the cost.
• Thirdly, LEARN, always learning, be eager to receive instruction. Read the book of proverbs frequently, read books by godly, wise, and successful authors, read wide. Jot, take notes, reflect.
WHAT THEN IS THE WORH OF WISDOM
Since wisdom is ageless, we may ask; what is the worth of the heavens, sun, the moon, and the skies! “My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.” v.19.
Wisdom is intangible, but, the proof you possess it are very tangible -........
