ARB Wind is delighted to have been awarded the contract for Balance of Plant (BoP) and Above Water Foundations inspections at the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG Offshore Wind) Wind Farm.

The contract will see our teams support BoP & structural inspections across 54 turbines and two offshore substation platforms, ensuring long-term infrastructure integrity.

We’re proud to share that ARB has been awarded three new Vestas construction projects for statutory inspections in 2025.

The sites — 𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐠 4, 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬, all located in Scotland — represent a continued relationship with Vestas, building on three successful years of collaboration in wind farm construction statutory inspection services.

We’re proud to share the successful demobilisation project with one of our valued offshore clients. Our teams safely and efficiently removed 51x temporary diesel generators from offshore assets onto an SOV and finally into port, a complex scope that required careful planning, precision engineering, and some creative problem-solving.

Working within tight logistical constraints, we utilised alternative lifting and transport methods to ensure minimal disruption to the site and surrounding infrastructure. Thanks to our experienced teams and a strong focus on safety, the operation was completed on time and incident-free.

A great example of how adaptability and teamwork deliver results — even under tough conditions. 💪🌬️

Well done to Mila Gibson on being awarded the November player of the month award for our Tiki Taka Under 8 Girls squad 👏👏👏

Mila was always technically advanced for her age but the growth in confidence in the last month in particular has elevated her game to another level. She has been extremely consistent in football festivals and is such a hard worker every week in training so this award was thoroughly deserved 🧡🖤⚽️

Yesterday, our Offshore Project Manager Darren Todd & Managing Director Arran Bell held a crucial safety stand down with some of our team members working onboard the Forth Engineer in Scotland.

In an environment where repetition can breed complacency, we sometimes need to take a step back and dedicate time to identifying hazards, sharing lessons learned and promoting an open dialogue of suggestions and concerns.

A big thank you to our dedicated technicians for their hard work and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety while working offshore.

Safety isn't just a checklist; it's a culture.

Reactive Offshore Support 🔧

Our offshore teams have recently been engaged in mobilising, removing, and reinstalling a significant number of generator alternators in the field.

With the davit cranes out of commission, our engineering team was tasked with devising a solution that could be deployed swiftly and effectively to circumvent the necessity for shoreside maintenance. The scope of works included:

· Engineering
· Lifting Solution (CTV, Jacket, Genset)
· Provision of Bespoke Equipment
· Manpower
