These are the metal detectable clamp seals that we offer. They are elastomeric seals that are used to join surfaces together, acting as a barrier to prevent any liquids, gases or particles from escaping or penetrating the application.
These are made from nitrile, FKM, EPDM, and silicone compounds. Clamp seals are aseptic circular seals that are used to seal liquids tightly when connecting pipes with fl**ge ends.
They are mainly used in the food industry and the benefits of using these include being able to detect lost elastomeric fragments and stop distribution of contaminated products.

FACT FRIDAY!

Did you know that the first rubber duck manufactured in the late 1800s was not intended to be used in the bath, instead was made to be a chew toy.

By the 1940's the rubber duck developed into its recognizable and iconic floating yellow figure with bright orange bill. For decades most rubber ducks have been made out of vinyl however they have still kept there original name.
