📢 Bury Local Plan – Public Consultation Now Open
Bury counxil has now launched the Publication Bury Local Plan for public consultation.
Following the adoption of the Places for Everyone Joint Plan in March 2024, the Council is now inviting residents, businesses, landowners and other interested parties to comment on the proposed Local Plan before it progresses to the next stage.
🗓 Consultation Period:
17 July 2026 – 11 September 2026 (11:59pm)
The Local Plan will help shape future development across the borough, including housing, employment, infrastructure, transport, green spaces and environmental policies, making this an important opportunity for anyone with an interest in planning within Bury to have their say.
