As we say a final farewell to one of our busiest and most impactful periods of delivery, we also bid a very fond and heartfelt goodbye to three truly amazing colleagues: Rachel Harris, Olivia Baxter-Lloyd and Steven Platts✨
Each of them has shaped, supported and strengthened the Welsh ICE community in their own unique way, leaving a lasting impact on the people, projects and culture that make Welsh ICE what it is today.
Rachel Harris leaves after more than 11 years with Welsh ICE, most recently as Chief Creative Officer. Rachel has been instrumental in shaping our brand, campaigns and the way Welsh ICE is experienced by the wider world. Her strategic thinking, creativity, warmth and generosity have been woven into the organisation for over a decade, and her impact will be felt for many years to come.
Olivia Baxter-Lloyd has been a huge part of daily life at Welsh ICE over the past 5 years as our Community & Space Manager. From welcoming new members and giving tours, to supporting our hub and being a friendly face for so many people walking through our doors, Liv has helped make Welsh ICE feel like home for countless members and visitors alike.
And finally, Steven Platts, who over the past 2+ years has been a hugely valued part of Welsh ICE behind the scenes. Always one of the first to step forward when support was needed, Steve brought reliability, humour and genuine care to the team every day. Alongside keeping things running smoothly, he built strong relationships with members, becoming a much-loved part of the wider Welsh ICE community.
We’re incredibly grateful for everything Rachel, Liv and Steven have contributed during their time with us. While they’ll all be hugely missed around the hub, we’re excited to see what comes next for each of them.
Please join us in wishing them all the very best for the future 💛
