SUPPORT WORKER – DOMICILIARY CARE

South Hams / Ivybridge Area

Klys Care is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing domiciliary care team, supporting people in their own homes across the South Hams and Ivybridge area.

No previous care experience is required — full training is provided. If you are someone who genuinely wants to make a difference to people's lives, we would love to hear from you.

GUARANTEED SHIFTS

We currently have the following shifts available:

Monday: 9:30am – 6:15pm
Friday: 7:45am – 7:00pm
Sunday: 7:45am – 6:00pm
Additional hours are available on other days for those who would like to work more.

Whether you're looking for regular hours or want to build your hours around other commitments, we can offer flexibility.

PAY & BENEFITS

Pay from £13.10 per hour
Higher rates on Bank Holidays & Christmas
40p per mile mileage paid
Free DBS
Free uniform
Free PPE & equipment
Paid training, induction & shadowing shifts
Flexible hours – work as many or as few hours as you like
Blue Light Card eligibility
Ongoing support and training

❤ THE ROLE

As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you will support individuals in their own homes and within the community, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Your duties may include:

Providing person-centered care and support
Prompting with personal care where required
Medication prompts and support
Meal preparation and prompts
Supporting with shopping and household tasks
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting individuals to access the community
Promoting independence and choice
Following individual care plans
Supporting people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes
Every person we support is different, and we pride ourselves on providing individualised, compassionate care.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

No experience needed – full training provided!

We are looking for people who are:

Caring, compassionate and patient
Reliable and trustworthy
Respectful of people's dignity and independence
Able to work as part of a team
Willing to learn and develop
18+ years old
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
Have the right to work in the UK
