Giggles n Grow

Giggles n Grow Childcare service for under 5’s and for school children before and after school. We cook a healthy home cooked hot meal every day.

We offer excellent facilities with a separate playroom for the children to learn and play. At Giggles 'n' Grow we aim to provide a home-from-home environment which meets the individual learning needs of each child and encourages their ongoing social, emotional and personal development. We want to promote creativity in children with lots of out door fun and exploring combined with healthy eating.

Such a fun day at Giggles n Grow today, a picnic at one of our favourite places RHS Garden Wisley because it is half term we had 9 children and people often say ‘wow you have your hands full’ and my reply is ‘they are all so good and we are proud of them all, taking them to places is always a pleasure’ it’s also so lovely when children we have looked after since they were babies want to come back to see us in the holidays, it’s so lovely seeing how much they have grown, this is what makes our job so special.

This year at Giggles n Grow we had 10 butterflies, the children named them all, Chloe, Sophia, fiarna, metamorphosis, caterpillar, nettle, star, pink ranger, Matilda and let it go. I’m sure you will agree that they are great names. This week there was great excitement the caterpillars were in the cocoons, metamorphosis was taking place, and before our very eyes the butterflies emerged. Today, the children held the butterflies and set some of them free. The children learn so about nature and the world at Giggles n Grow and we just love seeing how enthusiastic and excited they all are 🐛🐛🐛🦋🦋🦋

The Easter holidays are here and spring has arrived so what better way to spend the day at Giggles n Grow than a visit to Windsor to see the changing of the guard and a picnic in the park followed by ice cream and I can honestly say we are truly blessed with such gorgeous little ones, they are always so well behaved. 🏰🏰

We would like to introduce you all to our new pet at Giggles n Grow Boris the stick insect, name picked out of a hat it could have been called Zora, Bill, stick man, Simon, Sophie or chicken nugget🤷‍♀️ all names chosen by the children. We went hunting for food this morning for Boris brambles are his favourite and all the children have learnt that Boris is nocturnal.

World book day at Giggles n Grow today and one little girl asked me what it was all about and what it meant so I explained to them all books help us learn about the world, help us use our imagination through stories and pictures and open our lives to reading and writing by learning letters, words and sentences they all embraced it by listening to stories and singing and dancing to nursery rhymes. 📙📘📗📕📚📚📚
