Today is the start of the Grampound Summer Arts and Crafts Fair. A hall full of local hand made products. Open Mon 10th to Fri 14th July, 10-5 each day.
Plus, the most delicious homemade cakes available, made by some of the villagers. Mmmm.

Don't forget the Mawnan Art and Craft Market is still on! So, if you haven't yet managed to get on down there to see the amazing crafts on display, then you still have time! It's going on until Saturday 8th.
It's been quite busy so far, so that's a sign it's worth a trip!

Full of amazing hand crafted products from Art to Wood, and everything in between including glass, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and more.
It's well worth a look!

Woodworker & laser specialist is busy getting ready: display is sorted, products are packed. Just need to load it all in the van tomorrow and go and set it up!

I'm busy making a new batch of extendable wooden trivets, which always seem to be popular at the Mawnan Art and Craft Market which is coming up soon. Saturday August 1st through to Saturday August 8th, 2026. 10-5.

For those who aren't sure, a trivet is for putting hot plates or pans upon to save marking your worktops and tables. The Jimagination Creations ones are extendable - they pivot around a hidden hinge to become bigger or smaller, and they are made from 7 different woods (walnut, sapele, cherry, beech, maple, ash & oak). Each finger of wood is engraved with the species of wood it is. Finished with a melamine coating, these trivets are liquid and heat resistant. Brilliant!
Practical & beautiful. They really are a centrepiece for any kitchen.

But, you'll have to go to the show event to get your hands on one as current stocks are limited!
